The Tarrytown Halloween Parade & Block Party is one of Westchester County’s largest and most popular Halloween celebrations, bringing thousands of costumed spectators, families, performers, and parade participants to downtown Tarrytown for an evening of spooky fun.
The 2026 parade takes place on Saturday, October 24, beginning at 5:00 PM at Patriots Park on Route 9 in Tarrytown. From there, the parade travels south along Broadway before heading toward Main Street, where the celebration continues with a lively block party until approximately 10:00 PM.
Expect an impressive procession of creative costumes, community groups, decorated floats, performers, and plenty of Halloween spirit. The parade has grown substantially since it began in 2002 and now attracts more than 3,500 spectators, with even more visitors joining the festivities on Main Street afterward.
Once the parade reaches downtown Tarrytown, Main Street transforms into a Halloween block party featuring DJs, live music, performers, outdoor dining, and entertainment. Local restaurants and merchants participate in the festivities, making it easy to grab dinner or a snack while enjoying the celebration.
